Codi Curtis: Operational Manager
Hi, my name is Codi. I was born and raised in Moses Lake. I went down a very dark path with drugs and alcohol following the Frontier Middle School shooting in February 1996 and the murder/suicide of my Godfamily in Dec 1996 a month later. At 18, I fled Moses Lake running from my problems only to find out I was the problem. After 40 years of wandering, I was found dead on the bathroom floor and resuscitated through CPR and Narcan; I finally reached rock bottom realizing my need for a Savior. A week after my overdose, Chance (my 3 year-old son), looked me in the eyes and said “Mommy Jesus missed you.” That was the moment that changed the trajectory of my life. From that moment on, I surrendered my life to seeking God first in all I do and in return serve those in need he sends my way. The Red Door Café is much more than good food, it’s a gathering place for fellowship, bible study, and prayer. We serve free oatmeal to the homeless along with prayer, testimony, and sharing how the gospel has changed our lives! If you know of anyone struggling or would like to chat please come by and ask for Codi!
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters. Colossians 3:23
